Happy Glorious Birthday, My Dearest Mother
Happy Glorious Birthday to my precious mother, my first teacher, my prayer warrior, and one of the greatest blessings God has given me.
Mummy, words can never fully express how grateful I am to God for giving me a woman like you. You are not just a good woman; you are a woman of God, a woman of faith, strength, discipline, love, sacrifice, and devotion to God.
You taught me what it truly means to love God, serve God, fear God, and trust Him completely. Through your words, your actions, your prayers, and your lifestyle, you planted in me the foundation of faith that continues to guide my life. Many of the values I carry today —generosity, compassion, discipline, integrity, and godliness —were first taught to me by you.

You have been a praying mother, always standing in the gap for your children and family. Even when we did not see what you were praying about, you were on your knees, committing our lives into God’s hands. Your prayers have carried us through seasons we may never fully understand.
You were a disciplinarian, but your discipline was always rooted in love. You corrected us because you cared. You taught us right from wrong because you wanted us to become responsible, God-fearing and useful people. Looking back today, I appreciate the lessons I may not have understood as a child.
Mummy, you also taught me the beauty of generosity and godliness. You showed me that having a good heart is more important than having much, and that whatever God gives us should also become a blessing to others.

As I celebrate you today, I pray that God will reward you for every sacrifice, every prayer, every tear, every correction, every act of kindness and every seed of love you have sown into our lives.
May the Almighty God preserve you in good health, strengthen you, increase your joy, and surround you with His unfailing favour. May your latter years be greater than your former years. May you eat the fruits of your labour and live long enough to witness generations after generations rise and prosper.
Happy Glorious Birthday, Mummy!
I love you deeply, I honour you greatly, and I am eternally grateful to God for making you my mother.
May your new year be filled with divine health, peace, joy, abundance, long life and the continuous presence of God.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful mother, my prayer warrior, my teacher, and my blessing from God.
Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun.
Member, Lagos State House of Assembly.
